When Big Voices Hear Small (But Mighty!) Ones
The Year 6 children had a bold idea — if Agents of Change was going to make waves, why not tell the world about it? Determined to share their school’s incredible new initiative, they set to work writing letters to famous and influential figures, pouring their passion, creativity, and belief into every word.
Each letter was carefully crafted to be exciting, thoughtful, and truly engaging. Then came the hardest part… the waiting. Every day, hopeful eyes watched for the postman, wondering if anyone out there had heard their call.
And then — the moment arrived.
The children received a response from one of the most inspiring change-makers of all time… Sir David Attenborough. Yes — that Sir David Attenborough!
In his letter, he shared that he completely understood why the children wanted to become Agents of Change, recognising their passion for protecting the planet and making a difference. It was a truly magical moment that left not just Year 6, but the entire school, absolutely blown away.
Now proudly displayed in the school hallway, Sir David’s letter stands as a powerful reminder that young voices matter, that change can start anywhere, and that when children believe in themselves, incredible things can happen.
A huge well done to Year 6 — proof that even the smallest voices can reach the biggest hearts.
