Finding Our Voice Through Song
Something truly special has been happening at St Lawrence Primary School — a project that brought the entire school together through music, message, and meaning.
As part of our Agents of Change journey, the children worked collectively to create the official Agents of Change song. Using the upbeat and much-loved tune “Green Green Grass” by George Ezra, Mrs Clark cleverly rewrote the lyrics to reflect the heart and purpose of Agents of Change — hope, action, kindness, and the belief that everyone has the power to make a difference.
From the very first note, the song captured imaginations. Each class learnt the lyrics, practised with enthusiasm, and sang with pride, knowing they were part of something bigger than themselves. Classrooms echoed with music as children found their voices — not just in song, but in confidence and shared purpose.
The project didn’t stop there. The children then worked together to create a joyful music video, celebrating everything Agents of Change stands for. Every class played a part, every voice mattered, and the result was a powerful symbol of unity, creativity, and collective action.
This project reminded us that change doesn’t always have to be loud or serious — sometimes it can be joyful, musical, and full of heart. Through song, our children shared a message of hope and showed what can happen when a whole school comes together with a common purpose.
This is Agents of Change — united, empowered, and singing for a better future.
