Sharing our Story at the Eastern Education Show

Last week, we had the incredible opportunity to attend the Eastern Education Show at Newmarket Racecourse, where we were invited to share the story behind Agents of Change with educators from across the country.

Mrs Malcolm took delegates on a journey through some of the thousands of inspiring projects completed by pupils at St Lawrence over the years. From small acts of kindness to campaigns that have created real environmental and community impact, it was a chance to celebrate what happens when children are empowered to believe they can make a difference.

The audience also heard how Agents of Change has grown thanks to the passion and commitment of our pupils, families, staff and wider community. Together, you've helped transform an idea into a movement that continues to inspire schools far beyond our own.

We were proud to share the findings from the research project carried out by Kent University, which highlighted the positive impact Agents of Change has on children's confidence, wellbeing and sense of purpose. It was wonderful to reflect on just how far the initiative has come and how many young changemakers are now making a difference in their own communities.

The room was filled with teachers and school leaders eager to find out more, ask questions and discover how they could bring Agents of Change into their own schools. We were especially excited to give away one of our Water Project class packs, which has inspired so many incredible projects this year. Congratulations to the winning school—we can't wait to see where your journey takes you!

Every event like this reminds us that change grows when it's shared. Thank you to everyone who came along, listened to our story and joined us in believing that children really can change the world.

Together, we're building a generation of young people who don't just hope for a better future—they help create it.
